LazShades motorized top-down bottom-up shades are designed with a single motor drive system that delivers smooth, quiet operation in a simple and reliable structure. The top section and fabric section are mechanically linked, allowing coordinated movement while maintaining the clean look and ease of use LazShades is known for.

When operating the shade, the top open area lowers first, and once it reaches its lowest position, the fabric section moves upward to cover the window. The balance between open space and fabric coverage can be adjusted during this process, but the motorized version does not support independent control of the top and fabric sections.
