How the Motorized TDBU System Works
Unlike independently controlled dual-motor systems, this LazShades model uses a single motor drive system. The top section and cellular fabric section are mechanically linked and move in a coordinated sequence.
When you operate the shade, the top open area lowers first. After the top section reaches its lowest position, the fabric section begins moving upward to increase window coverage.
During this movement, you can stop the shade at different positions to adjust the balance between the open area and fabric coverage.
Please Note:
The motorized version does
not support independent control of the top section and
fabric section. Both sections operate through one coordinated motorized system.

Inside Mount Measuring Guide
Accurate measurements are especially important for custom-made inside-mount shades.
- Measure the inside width of your window opening carefully.
- Measure the inside height from the top of the recess to the window sill.
- Measure the available usable recess depth.
- Make sure you have at least 1.5" (38 mm) of usable depth for installation.
- Confirm that your ordered width is between 34" and 59".
- Confirm that your ordered height is between 12" and 59".

Please also note that the motorized TDBU system uses coordinated single-motor operation and does not provide independent control of the top and fabric sections.
